Cinderella: audience has a ball!
February 2006
The Christmas panto was a huge hit with audiences, and raised $12,000 for charity.
Deano writes:-

The response from the audience was fab, and they really got into the hissing and booing, and many people came back a second time. I also wrote in a few  guests in Cinderella's ballroom scene, each show I had dignitaries and local   celebs be given walk on roles.
I have booked the Theatre for 6 days next December.

Project on the life of Alexander Graham Bell
February 2006
I have been asked to write a play on Alexander Graham Bell, very excited about this. The very first phone call was made from Paris to Brantford. The Bells moved from Scotland to Canada in 1870 and Alex was only 29 when he invented the telephone, he truly was a genius with many inventions to his credit, his Mom Eliza was deaf also his wife Mable and he did much with sound, speech and language. I want to write a musical play from 1870 to 1876.

Dear Supporter:
Please let me introduce you to Talk of the Town Productions, a new and exciting company in the Brantford/Brant County region.
As Founder and Director, my goals are to highlight local talent and to make first-class, live theatre affordable for everyone.
My career in the entertainmentbusiness began over forty years ago when I won “Opportunity Knocks,” the UK equivalent to“Canadian Idol.”
By the age of sixteen I had my own television show and I’ve been performing ever since. With so much talent and support in this area, I am thrilled to be teaching, acting and directing in Brantford/Brant County.
Talk of the Town Productions is bringing Cinderella to the Sanderson Centre this Christmas!
Our humorous and satirical musical has a distinctly Brantford flavour and will provide both adultsand children with “more laughs than you can shake a glass slipper at!”
Tickets are $20. per adult and $15. per child and can be purchased directly through The Sanderson Center (758-8090). Inkeeping with our Mission and Vision Statements, two dollars from each ticket sale will be sharedby The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario and Brant Community Health Services for anew MRI machine.
Please consider this production a unique entertainment event for your company Christmas party. I guarantee you that our saucy take on this traditional fairy tale isn’t just for the kiddies!
As a special treat, we have partnered with Olde School Restaurant to offer a dinner/show package for Sunday night’s performance ($45. per person). Feast on a scrumptious “Cinderella” dinner at Olde School Restaurant at 5:30pm, then enjoy the 7:30pm performance from your preferred seats at The Sanderson Centre.
Seating is limited for the dinner/show package, so please bookyour reservation with Olde School Restaurant (753-3131) at your earliest convenience.
Also, we are seeking corporate donors to purchase seats for children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend live theatre. Please consider this request and ensure a merrier Christmas for children in the immediate area. Your name will be published in the Cinderella program unless otherwise requested.
