CatWalk donates $18,199 to local MS association

On December 3, The CatWalk executive committee presented a cheque to the local Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, Brant County Chapter. This year, The CatWalk event raised about $18,199, surpassing last year's result of $11,958. T
he 2007 CatWalk Fashion Show, Dinner and Silent Auction was held on Wednesday. October 24 at the Best Western Brant Park Inn and Conference Centre The CatWalk is a non-profit organization centred in Brantford that runs fund raising events for local charities.
It was founded in 2005 and is run by passionate, local businesswomen who donate their time, skills and resources to help neighbours in need. By attending a CatWalk event or sponsoring one, you can share in the run, and feel great about making a real difference in our community. MS SOCIETY
MS does live here in Brant County, and that three people are diagnosed every day wirh MS in Canada. It is diagnosed usually between the ages of IS and 40, during the career- and family-building years. Multiple sclerosis is an unpredictable, often disabling disease of the central nervous system — the brain and the spinal cord. The mission of the MS Society is to be a leader in finding a cure for multiple sclerosis and enabling people affected by MS to enhance their quality of life.
